Amerimar, in partnership with Lubert-Adler Partners, purchased 1808 West End in April 2007. The approximately 100,000 square foot property was a Class C office building in a prime location in the city's dynamic, growing West End corridor.

Located in close proximity to major corporate demand generators, Music Row, Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities, downtown Nashville and the city’s major thoroughfares, Amerimar saw the opportunity to maximize the property’s value through adaptive re-use. In January 2007, Amerimar embarked on the redevelopment of the property as the 248-room Hutton Hotel. Opened in early 2009, the Hutton is an independent luxury hotel with a contemporary-casual design and accessible service experience unique to the Nashville market.  The property is a member of Leading Hotels of the World.

The project also includes a future development parcel of a significant size.
